Cooper Madison, a 6-year-old Caucasian male, arrived at the emergency department with a closed head injury and concussion. A CT scan indicated possible skull fracture and subdural hematoma. Cooper was admitted to the pediatric unit and showed signs of decreasing consciousness overnight. During this scenario, learners must manage and implement nursing interventions for this pediatric patient.
